ABOUT US

Island Vibes was born from a passion for cooking and sharing flavors that take us back to the island of Curaçao. Founder and chef Tinsang started his career in the kitchen with a deep love for food and unique flavors. He gained experience in several restaurants in Amsterdam, but after a period of reflection, he decided to shift his focus to his own adventure.

In 2018, at just 23 years old, he opened his first business. After a few years, he moved to Curaçao, where he not only gained new experiences but also learned how to cope with life's unexpected twists. Despite the challenges, Tinsang learned perseverance and determination, which further shaped his vision for cooking and entrepreneurship.

After living and working in Curaçao for two years, he returned to the Netherlands in 2020. There, he began cooking on a small scale from home and selling his dishes, refocusing on his passion. In 2024, he was approached by two friends with the opportunity to open his own location. Without hesitation, he seized this chance, and Island Vibes was born.

Island Vibes stands for fresh, lovingly prepared food, inspired by the flavors of Curaçao. The success of the business continues to grow, with plans for future expansion to multiple locations.

Island Vibe is echt een aanrader! Het personeel is altijd vriendelijk en behulpzaam, en de sfeer voelt meteen warm en welkom aan. De wachttijd is prima, ondanks de drukte gaat alles vlot en georganiseerd. En dan het eten… echt super lekker! De smaak is authentiek, vers en je proeft dat er met aandacht wordt gekookt. Elke keer weer een feestje. Kortom: topservice, snelle bediening en heerlijk eten. Zeker een plek waar ik graag blijf terugkomen!

Het eten was echt heeerlijk!!! Smaak was goed en bak goed gevuld. Echt beste die we tot nu in Nederland gegeten hebben. Komt het meeste in de buurt met de smaak van Curacao. Echt heerlijk!! Het uurtje rijden hier naartoe was het meer dan waard!!
